New community leader for L'Arche Le Printemps
Posted 2022-08-17
It is with great pleasure that I write to you on behalf of the Board of Directors of L'Arche Le Printemps to announce good news.
Following a call for applications on June 10th, the selection committee received and processed eight applications for the position of Community Leader of L'Arche le Printemps. The committee finally completed its selection process and presented a recommendation to the Board of Directors of l'Arche le Printemps for the hiring of Ms. Marie-Claude Morin, which recommendation was accepted at a special meeting of the Board of Directors held on Tuesday, August 9.
A native of Abitibi-Témiscamingue, Ms. Morin's family and professional background has led her to live in various regions of Quebec and even outside of the country. She has settled in St-Luc de Bellechasse since 2018.
Trained as an educator, Ms. Morin has a varied career path working in management with various community organizations, as well as in the private sector, which has allowed her to gain versatility and perseverance.
Among the values she holds dear, she mentions the sense of sharing, listening and availability, which are all ways of contributing to making society better through simple gestures. These values are a part of what we want to live together every day in L'Arche!
Some of her favorite hobbies are woodworking, sewing, knitting, gardening, cooking and walking in the forest.
Mrs. Morin starts on Monday, August 15, so we will have a transition period of a few weeks before I leave on September 2.
We wish her a warm welcome to L'Arche le Printemps and much joy in her journey among us.
Geneviève Moutquin
