Some libations in honor of the occasion
Jean Vanier dropped in to visit at the farm in Harlowe, Ontario, Canada on July 30-31, 1985, to help celebrate L’Arche Frontenac’s 10th Anniversary. He brought some libations with him in honor of this auspicious occasion. Lary Freeman remembers Jean pouring him a “shot” of brandy (which may actually have been a glass of port) while Erin Halferty, looking on at the right and very much under the legal drinking age, holds a rather large bottle of what Lary remembers as whiskey.
