L'Arche Canada is recruiting a Vice Regional Leader - Atlantic Region

L’Arche Canada is seeking an energetic, committed individual to be part of the national support team in the role of Atlantic Vice Regional Leader. This individual will work closely with the Regional Leader of Atlantic Canada to support the growth and well-being of L’Arche and its mission in the Region and beyond. The Vice Regional Leader will work with the Community Leaders in the Atlantic Region as well as other members of L’Arche Canada. Best fit individuals are those who embrace growth and are excited about opportunities for change that will benefit local L’Arche communities.

Location:

L’Arche in Atlantic Canada is a vibrant, growth-oriented collection of five established communities and two projects. Currently our homes and programs are located in Antigonish, Wolfville, Halifax and Cape Breton in Nova Scotia, and Saint John, New Brunswick. We have projects in Fredericton, NB, and St. John’s, NL. We are in a culturally rich environment, a mix of urban , rural, and small towns, and always close to the water.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

The Vice Regional Leader assists the Regional Leader in fulfilling the following responsibilities:

• Support, supervision and evaluation/review of communities and leaders in the region,
• Development of opportunities for growth (outreach, fund development, strategic partnerships, etc.) for Atlantic Canada communities in consultation with Community Leaders and Board Presidents,
• Ensuring the sustainability and vibrancy of regional life,
• Ensuring the priorities of L’Arche Canada and its strategic plan are lived in the region within all communities [...]
