I Believe in You

Posted 2018-12-05

“This book brings something new and surprising (...) I hope each reader can discover in a new way what it means to be human.” – Jean Vanier, from the foreword

Book

A new book by L’Arche Chicago member, Luca Badetti, explores what it means to be human through L’Arche stories and reflection. How to believe in yourself and the other? Find out in surprising ways! Grounded in stories from L’Arche communities, “I Believe in You” brings together psychological and spiritual insights for anyone who wants to live authentically.

To believe means to trust. How can we trust our being? How can we remove the walls of division and distrust? What is the importance of sharing time, meals and life inclusively with the other? How can we live a spirituality of unity? These and other questions are approached as Luca narrates stories in which L’Arche core members and assistants, including himself, journey into trust.
