L’Arche is committed to supporting each person to reach their potential and this applies to Assistants, as well as, Core Members (persons with intellectual disabilities).
Assistants will be supported to learn and grow through their daily lives in their home and community, and, through our more formal Leadership Training Programs.
We offer development in areas such as communication, interpersonal skills, team work and collaboration, as well as, the skills required to support the lives of Core Members.
Learning at L’Arche takes place as we live our day-to-day lives. From your first day at L'Arche, you will be supported to learn and succeed.
L’Arche takes seriously our mission to shape a more human society and believe that investing in the leadership skills of our Assistants helps both those who choose a career at L’Arche.
The Leadership Training program broadens and deepens the longer you stay at L’Arche and offers regional, national and international options.
