Our prison systems are growing in size and shrinking in service provision. We offer this issue on restorative justice, potentially a different option for some offenders and victims, because the present system is not working well. Restorative justice, a practice rooted in First Nations wisdom, can provide community-building opportunities that strengthen the fabric of a society.
