A community dedicated to making known the gifts and contribution of people who have an intellectual disability, in beautiful northern Ontario.

In 1978 , inspired by Jean Vanier, Claire Trahan founded the L'Arche North Bay community. Today, L'Arche North Bay has 13 core members living in one of the 4 community homes. The community also offers a day program.

L'Arche North Bay is located in a vibrant city of 56,000 people, nestled between Lake Nipissing and Trout Lake conveniently located just three and a half hours from Toronto and Ottawa.
