L’Arche Ottawa is a bilingual community that is actively involved in the capital of Canada, promoting the values of L’Arche to the residents of the city.

L’Arche Ottawa began in the national capital region in 1972. Today there are 30 people with intellectual disabilities and 18 assistants who provide support to them living in 6 homes as well as members of the coordinating team and a number of live-out and part-time support persons.

They have a spacious, modern community center where they gather for community nights and on many other special occasions.
